DESCRIPTION:Rady Children’s Hospital has announced the closure of its Center for Gender Affirming Care. As a result, all new and pending appointments for youth under the age of 18 will be canceled effective February 6, 2026. We have been told care will continue for patients 19 and older for the time being.\nWe know this news may feel sudden, upsetting, and devastating, and we are holding all of you with deep care as we all navigate what this means for our youth and families.\nTo make our commitment clear, we’re gathering our families and allies for a peaceful protest outside Rady Children’s Hospital on Saturday, January 24th from 11:00 AM–12:30 PM.\nIf you are unable to attend, please consider supporting us with a donation.\n\nWe urge you to join us as we stand against clinic closures and defend access to gender-affirming care for trans youth. Please share the attached flyer with loved ones and your personal networks.
